    Newton Temps

    Anyone fish Newton this weekend? Planning on driving down Wednesday for a long day trip. Just looking for some current water temps. Not sure if the plant has been running or not....Thanks for any info

    i was there on christmas. Fishing was tough I think because the plant turned off recently . We saw 57 almost all the way up the hot ,50 at the ramp and as low as 43 on the cold . Last saturday it was in the 60's on the hot side .

    just got back . 39 all the way cold side and 51 half way up the hot . The warmer the water got the more boats I saw . I didn't catch much. One keeper and a hand full of shorts . Fished mainlake with crankbaits mostly . When I decided to try shallow is when I bumped into boats left and right .
