    Anyone fishing McClure/Pedro?

Anyone been out lately? Sure is cold, but the itch to get out is strong.

Up there about 2 weeks ago. Fish were from 5'-50', jigs, rip baits, A rig, dropshot, all worked.

About a month ago they were all in the 50+ range. I may give it a shot Monday or Tuesday.

Haven't, but been hearing great things if you can find them deep.

I've been focusing on Striper lately.

Was on McClure last Saturday. 56 degree water. Most consistent fish for me were between 20-30 feet fishing jigs and hula grubs. 1-1.5 pounders all day!

Went again last Saturday. Pretty much the same deal. Steeper banks and points 20-30 feet using jigs and shaky heads. Green pumpkin seemed to be the color for me. Water temp was 56-57. Caught maybe 12 for a 9 pound limit. Can't find the big ones :(

I was there yesterday. Only caught 6 all day, had 5 for 7.86 lbs. 3/4 oz. FB head with 4" Yammie hula grubs in 297 and 301, 30-55' rocky points, water temp 53-55. There was 3 club outings yesterday and the lake is getting pounded as there is a BBT on the 18th. Others reported lots of small fish being caught.

I like to go to the F&G’s page for fishing contests and avoid those dates!

Seems like there's a club there 3 weeks out of the month.

Just saw that....11,12,18 and 19. This is why I've always liked Wednesdays.
