CFP CFA
I started discussing some college majors for my son and i saw a financial planning major. Based on the coursework it says you will be qualified to take the CFP exam after graduating. I looked at the job placement last year and it said 100 percent were employed after graduating and the employers included Vanguard, Fidelity, and some big banks.
so the questionI have for those familiar with the profession is do you like it? Ate most of these jobs people are getting really sales jobs? Where would be a good place to work etc. Trying to have the discussion with him so he can get the wheels turning for the future.

We hired our intern from last year as he graduated this year and plans to sit for the CFP exam in March. He was brought on as a para-planner to assist several advisors in the office. He is doing well and loves it so far.
