    Mercury rev 4 doesnt fit?

Did I do something wrong here? Followed the directions word for word and it still hits the trim tab. Should I trim down the tab? My previous solas prop fit perfect.

Probably need a flat or offset trim tab or trim the one you have.

Cut your trim tab flat off.

I think I would sell that prop to me for twice what you paid for it. If it were me, I would not cut it flat but cut it back on an angle to fit plus 1/4" or so. I had to do that to my old Johnson 60HP.

They sell flat ones for this very thing. Or you can just cut yours for free. Lol

BTW... Props with big diameters and lots of rake cause this. They also make an off set tab... The flat one is just fine. You will probably want to remove all 4 pvs plugs.

Let us know how it runs... You might add more venting. I had Mark make my 25P Rev4 into a dual PVS 26P.. I hope to run it before the year end.

Sometimes I just push them through from the outside... Otherwise the prop has to come off and manipulate a flat screwdriver or similar to get them out.
