So finally had a chance to get out and really enjoy ice fishing this afternoon. Warmer weather and finally safe ice let me hit up my local panfish pond. Caught a few bass but the perch and bluegill were on fire today. Only caught a few fish on shiners and all the rest were jigging tungsten and waxies. Caught close to 30 perch all good sized and close to 40 bluegill with probably my new personal best. Kept some perch for a fish fry tmrw night and sent all the rest back to live another day. Life is good.....
