Wayne, glad to see you've got the new MEGA 360 and a chance to use it at this time of year. Makes a big difference in the images shown.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! I just got my Mega 360 installed and all the depth finders updated with the new software and can’t wait to get out and play with it tweaking the settings. Everything is networked but still need a splitter cable. Very nice pics Wayne!!! Thanks for all your help and advice!

360 vs MEGA 360 brush pile---the hour times don't match since I forgot to do the DST offset.

That's pretty awesome .... what frequency ranges can you select? How does the range of the Mega compare to the original?

The MEGA 360 uses 455 kHz or 1200 kHz.
I have not messed with the range comparison, spec is 125' for MEGA and I think the 360 is 150'

I just used the 455 kHz CHIRP for a few minutes, didn't take long to decide which is best.
I was tied to a standing pine tree for this comparison image.

I would think the 455 setting would look better using the SI of the Mega 360 maybe?

It is a lot clearer on what is there. I will get one when they become readily available. I see they added a program update to the Helix units , but not the Solix. Any idea timing to release the Solix update? If

I see you’re displaying with a range of 40-60. Any shots from 90 or greater?

No, I will try to remember to do some next time out. Really don't have a need for that much range, if I want that much coverage, I use SI to locate stuff and then fish it with 360.
