Wow. I love my 360 but the Mega is just insane.

Thanks for this information. That's what I need to do next time out after marking fish.

Awesome post! Curious about a couple of things: 1) the sound emitted from the transducer head vs. the AS360; and, 2) the electrical draw vs. the original. Can’t wait to get mine!

    1. What does that mean? Both 360's are rotating SI transducers, only the cable connection is different

    2. Same

Wayne, I think he is asking if the mega 360 transducer makes any more noise while rotating than the regular 360 did?

Yes, was wondering how the sound emitted compares from the head unit operating; not the sonar ping, but more the mechanical noises from the rotating transducers.

    360 vs MEGA 360
This is a beaver hut that was built while the lake was being filled up over 10 years ago.

Wayne, please stop sharing all of these fantastic images of the new Mega 360. I am waiting for BPS to stock Mega 360 for Ultrex (so I can buy with points), so I need people to stop ordering so I can place the order for mine. Thanks ;)

This mechanical noise is a concern to me as we had a tm prop that was making a small noise and as we pushed jigs a 1 mph I could see the fish dive for the bottom before we were in 30 feet of them. After changing props this no longer happened. Maybe they havn't learned to ID 360 noise yet so it won't matter. Don

I occassionally push jigs and PICO Square Bill cranks and wouldn’t think the extremely small noise that the Mega 360 creates is a concern at all. I’m not concerned with it and I fish out of a 1648 G3 plain Jane Jon Boat in a lot of skinny water sometimes in a lot of submerged timber bouncing off it making noise more than anything the Mega 360 will give off.
