    Does dexter have a fix for this??

    2014 618 tandem trailer...

    That would be Marine Master, they use Dexter/UFP parts for the tongue and axles but that piece comes from Marine master.

    I had mine do the same thing talk to tammy or claud at marine master they took care of mine

    It's an easy fix really. I had to fix the same thing on my older nitro. I think it's from power loading a little to hard. Of course you either have to know how to weld or take it to a weld shop. I ended up welding mine back and putting some plates on the outside to reinforce that area

    mine did it 3X, kept getting it rewelded (was 5-6 hrs away from home every time down at Lake Powell so really limited on repair), finally went to my local trailer shop and had them fix it right, they used 1/4 steel bracket and welded on 2 gussets, beefing up the entire assembly, mine was a 2016 trailer. Design is weak. PM me your number if you want some photos of my setup.

    That just happened to me. Its from power loading on an week metal bracket. I contacted marine master and they sent me a new piece to weld on and it was a thicker gauge than my original. I guess they realized the problem.
    Cut the old one of and welded the new one on. Never had another issue
