The ole evinrude finally bit the dust and blew cylinder 2. Going to repower. Can someone give me an estimate if I go with a new merc 4 stroke 200? It has the torquemaster.

It’s a shame OMC didn’t rate that hull for a 250, mine was rated for 245. I had a good Ficht 225 on mine and it was pretty fast with that for such a big heavy hull but a 250 would really wake it up.
That's what I was thinking too.... a 250 on that hull would really be something
anything over 20 foot rated for a 250 likely 201 pro takes a 250hp??

No argument here, just my observation from noting my own 245 rating plate on '95 201PE
