    Ya that would have been a mess. I can actually open the lid a bit with the rods in the hole.

    I just watched a youtube video by John Crews with him rigging his new Bass Cat and he put the rubber strap rod holders on the lids so that he can open the lids with the rods staying in place. Great tip!

    Very nice Ranger Rod. It's still beautiful. Love that boat. The full walk thru is great. Mine is '91 side console. Love the deeper hull
