looking advice to setup old ranger with motor change

I have a 1989 Ranger 361V with a 1995 Suzuki 150 EFI connected to a manual jackplate. 22 pitch Suzuki prop. Doesn't plane out well and only runs 50 mph. How can improve both plane and speed with my setup?
    Thanks in advance

Zuke gearing is all over the place, so to get some manner of base line to work from, what rpms at WFO are you getting with the 22?
361 is never going to be a holeshot rocket, but the first order is to get the prop that turns at max rpms, then everything fits.

You need to find 600 rpms.
I’d be leaning on 20” tempest with zuke hub or tro4 powertech. You probably have the screwball 1:64 gears. Hard setup.
