Best bet would be to get a license on line. Otherwise there is a Walmart in Marion.
i was there last week. Temp by the plant was 53. Spanish lake house 47. The A rig is a good choice along with spinnerbait and shakey head. Just note ALL the docks are off limits and there is a 35 mph speed limit. It maybe crowded if you plan to come on the weekend.

Mack's Lake of Egypt Marina I believe sells fishing licenses...would have to call to make sure. Otherwise Walmart or another local bait shop. I'll echo a spinnerbait and a-rig as they won a tournament late in the season last year that I fished in. Haven't fished it this late in the year but I wouldn't pass up a lipless crankbait, jerkbait and a jig either. Find the warmest water you can.
