    18TRX Power Poles Install

Pwr Poles on the way for 18TRX. Curious how to route the hydraulic hoses. Anybody with dual poles have pics to share would be much appreciated.

I ran mine thru my motor rigging access hole. Its either that or you have to drill 2 holes in the splashwell.

Each pole has 2 lines correct? Not sure I can get 4 hoses through the rigging tube hole. I'm not crazy about drilling holes in the boat for obvious reasons but see it done often. I'm curious what options are out there for a trim plate/hole cover that dresses up the the lines if holes are drilled. Thx

I would look at one of the new boats and check out the installation. They are run separately through the back of the splash well, and have chrome hole covers.

I was at my local Triton dealer buying some oil, out if curiosity walked the lot. They had a 19TRX rigged with dual poles. The lines were drilled thru the splash well. They had chrome trim around the holes, probably, inserts. They looked good.

I went through the rigging hole. They will fit. I also have mercmonitor cable going through there and its pretty big. That boot expands pretty big.

+1. There is alot of room for other lines and cables in that boot. I prefer not to drill any more holes also. Seen boats done theough the splashwell also its clean if done right but its more holes.

I did finish the install. I went by Anglers Choice in Lexington and looked a 3 new tritons with poles. All had the lines drilled through the splash well and were trimmed out with a chrome plate that the hoses and grommets ran through. Ended up buying a couple of the chrome trim plates from them and did mine the same way.
