What tags are going up in Jan. 2020 ?

My boat sticker and license plate boat trailer sticker are from 2016.. I need to get current on plates and dnr boat sticker.. I heard plate stickers are going from $18 to $118 ? What do I need to get plate stickers ? Do I get boat sticker still on DNR website ??

Yes, trailer stickers (under 3000# gross weight) are going up to $118. For plate stickers, your old registration should be sufficient. Not sure if you'll be penalized for it not being registered since '16. Call your local secretary of states office, for verification.

I just take a picture of my plate and bring that into the license office. Lots of people do it that way. They made me pay for the previous year when mine was expired. I told them I didn’t use it for three years but they still charged me. With the fees going up significantly I would not even bother with it until you get caught.
