    Power steering Mercury verado 250hp 2005

    I have problem with my power steering its have 1 inch free turn on steering wheel and I can't handle my boat keep going straight. Always pulling on right side and I wheeling all the time left to keep going straight. Also for I turning steering wheel all the way on left or right my wheel not stop or brake I can moving more and more. I removed my power steering cylinder and inside have couple drops oil. And my oil for power steering pump is full. How can I fixed this problem. My boat is ranger z21 2005 mercury verado 250hp serial number is 1B073852. Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English

    A couple drops since 2005 really isn't a major concern- especially if your fluid level isn't dropping.

    Have you performed a complete bleeding of the system (strongly suspect you have air in the system)? This should be done with the Power Steering Pump Priming Tool.
