Default khz-mhz setings

I noticed that the recently purchased Helix 10 HW MSI GPS G2N (BP/Cab special) unit has khz/mhz settings that differ than the max range of settings.

Example...The Mega SI uses 1.025-1.125 Mhz and the Mega DI uses 1.075-1.175 Mhz rather than the full range of 1.000-1.300 Mhz available in the settings.

The 2D Chirp default seems to be 150-220 Khz vs the max range of 140-240 Khz.

Is this because HB has decided that these settings were generaly best with the supplied transducer (XM H1012 HW MSI G2N)?

Yes and the same with any other transducer's default frequency spectrums.
