Since today is the beginning of the Gamakatsu hook sale day, I was looking through the hooks and came across this one and was wondering if anyone uses it and what application you would use it for. Thanks in advance.

Been doing that for years with split rings.
Flukes and swimbaits like skinny dippers or larger keitechs.
They are also good on a texas rig and act like a poor mans swinging football jig with that presentation.
I know a guy who used them because he claimed his knot would slip to the hook eye gap and break his line. I epoxy my hook eyes to prevent this.
