    2020 Z521L 300R prop

Hi guys, I really do need your help about prop selection.
    I have 2020 Z521L with Mercury Racing 300R 1.75 torque master.

Ranger now has a motor option for V8 Proxs 300, I’m wondering which prop comes with and its pitch.
I’m the first one to have Z521L with 300R in Japan, both Ranger and Mercury authorized dealer in Japan have no clue which prop to choose.
And believe or not, those authorized dealers in Japan do not have any prop for trial at all!

I’m thinking of getting Bravo I LT and/or Fury 3 blade.
Any recommendation for which pitch I should choose?

That's crazy!! That boat is twice as long as most boats in Japan.
By Japan standards, you can fish 4 guys off the front deck.

I wish I could keep trying different props...
There’s only one Merc authorized dealer in Japan and they don’t have any prop for trial.
Also they said they cannot really help me for prop selection unless I spend thousands of dollars to purchase props from them.
I’ll try to reach guys who have 300R on their boat!

    That’s right!
But I normally fish at Lake Biwa, 7.5 times bigger lake than Lake Toho in Orlando,
    21ft boat is right size!
Most of boats in Japan are about 10ft.
That’s because you need to pay 1000+ dollars to get boating license to operate boat 10ft or larger..

There is a guy at Ranger that I guarantee he would have a very close ideal of what prop would work, he test props with all the engine boat combinations that they have, been doing it for years. His name is Bud (spell) Bringler , maybe some one will fill in that correct spelling. He may not get it 100% right but he will be pretty close. It would be worth your time and money to call him at Ranger, you call him not the dealer.

I have the same hull but with 250 so I can not be a huge help but these hulls are heavy and avg on speed. What is most important for you out of this prop? Speed, control, rough water bite, hole shot.

educated guess would be something with a 24 or 25 pitch maybe 26 if you are speed obsessed and do weight savings (no shallow water anchors, Lithium batteries, remove on board charger and make it and external charger).

Do some searching I will for you if I am bored. There are some post from guys with the regular 300 proXS's and what they are running.

    I’d be trying something like a 25 fury 3 or 4.

My boat dealer's sales manager runs the exact rig you have { z521L w 300r} with a 24 fury 3 , and told me he runs a 23 fury 3 in summer with higher water temps located in Mississippi .

I’m looking for better control and hole shot, so probably I need to go for 4 blades.
Hope I can find someone has props like fury 4 or bravo I that I can borrow for trial.
    I’ll try 24 or 25 pitch!
