And why is that?? It has Ultrex has anchor lock but not the same as POWER POLES. I have an ULTERRA but when on anchort, it faces me into the wind. WHAT if I did not want to face IN TO the wind.Originally Posted by GeauxTide

Dang, didn't mean to start a storm. When I fished the Venice, LA marsh every year, I had a couple of Cajun Anchors when the tide was running hard. I would use them for that situation because the tide runs hard that close to the Gulf. I don't typically fish grass, so I've had no problem with boat position in wind or current.

In another video, Swindle explains that he didn't put power poles on because he was looking to keep weight down on the rear as much as possible so he could get the boat into shallow river areas.
