    Tackle Trap

    So I’ve been waiting for this to play out before I voiced my experience with Tackle Trap. Ordered a Steez Spinning Rod after some back and forth with Gary and decided what was right for what I wanted. I’ve been patiently waiting for it’s arrival with the holiday shipping craze only to see the tracking show delivered.... but no rod. Waited for the next day, out for delivery again, still no rod. Wednesday I get a delivery update from UPS that says delivery issue, want to file claim? I called Tackle Trap, talked to Jackson. He looks up the order, takes my info. I’m at this point just expecting the run around. Not ten minutes later, Jackson calls... they wrecked the rod (UPS) and he’s already packed up another one and said he’s going to next day air me a new rod. Get home tonight, rod is here and everything is good.
    I know, first world problems, but I just wanna say. Thank you Gary for the advice on the rod, cannot wait to get it on the water, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to Jackson and Tackle Trap, not sure what even happened but I cannot believe how quickly you addressed my problem and went above and beyond to next day air me a fishing rod.

    super great guys down there!! Last year i was in Arizona visiting my Father so i was unable to go to the classic. I wanted the new st croix legend glass chatterbait rod they would have there but the guys told me at tackle trap they were only allowed to sell it directly at the classic. Rules per st. croix which i respected. So i talked to Brian and told him a buddy of mine would swing by and pick it up. Brian said sure we will settle up later. Which was so cool first off he was going to give me the rod then settle up payment wise. So i get back from Arizona and going to my buddies house i called Brian to pay for the rod and he said I think we may have messed up. I asked what do you mean and he went on to tell me he thought he gave my buddy a 7'11 Tatula cranking rod instead. I was ok with it because i knew it had to be insane there at the booth then he told me just to keep the rod!!! which blew me away that he was going to give me this rod and still ship the right rod at a later date. When i arrived my buddy had it on the porch and i would see that it was orange so i knew it was the st croix, so they ended up getting it right from the start. but the fact of them going all out like they do for customers is truly awesome and something you really dont get from the bigger retailers when buying tackle. So yes you guys rock at TTT.
