Looking for a good 2.5L Merc mechanic

I have a 1999 Mercury 200hp EFI that I’m having some problems with and I’ve done all the troubleshooting on it that I know how to do. Ive been told I need to have the ignition system tested with a DVA tester and I’d like to take it to someone who knows the 2.5L EFI outboards well. Anyone have any suggestions for someone to take it to in Northeastern North Carolina near Roanoke Rapids? Thanks in advance.

    Michael

It would be a little drive but R&K in Knightdale would be a good choice. Great Merc mechanic for lots of years. Good Luck

Sorry about not posting the serial number and thanks for the welcome. I’ll check out the dealer located and look into R&K. Knightdale isn’t too bad of a drive. Thanks for the reply’s!

Wilson’s not far from here. I’ll have to check that one out as well. Greenville SC is a little further than I was hoping to go but thanks for the recommendation.

Greenville might be a little further, but Don Weed (EuropeanAM) is the REALLY GOOD, HONEST dealer 06 was referring to.
