Something to do with your old egg cartons.

I'm one. It would take me less than an hour to fill those up

Yep. About 15 minutes and I’d be needing more cartons. Glad we don’t use cartons.

Shopping at the “Chicken Ranch” would have consequences on the home front for me.

Yes! About twice a year Tyson will bring us boxes for the eggs to sell to other complexes. Putting those boxes together was the worst part. Glad we use racks most the time.

Neat. Almost became a chicken farmer when Costco came in and built a chicken processing plant. In the end we decided against it.

That's pretty neat. Grew up on a chicken farm. We raised pullets. I don't miss it at all but I think it taught me a good work ethic at a young age. When you raise chickens you are pretty strapped down. It is a 7 day a week job.

Some of us lay a lot of "Eggs" on tournament days. Does that count?

Well if it doesn't it should and maybe one should approach someone in the egg business about a possible sponsorship?

A friend of mine called himself the Bagel King based on his tournament record but in spite of all the encouragement never tried to capitalize on it even to get a free breakfast at the local Bagel Shop for his friends........I have "Self Destructed" maybe I should have contacted a Demolition Company back then.

Creative Ideas can sure "Hatch" from even the most innocent looking BBC Threads guess it can pay to scratch around and see what you can turn up it could change your Cluck!!

I'm not now, used to raise Chickens and Turkeys, but my neighbor has three automated laying houses, right next to my back field.

We have rolling carts. The ones I pick up in now hold 90 plastic flats. Each flat holds 43 eggs or 3780 a rack. They make several different sizes of flats, depends on which hatchery your eggs are going to at that time

Does a truck come to your farm and pick-up the eggs every few days? Or, do you deliver the eggs to the hatchery?
