3.0 liter diesel has a belt on the oil pump which must be changed at 150k miles. Must drop transmission to change belt. I'll pass on this diesel. GM engineers must be smoking crack.

Tahoe or Yukon with the 6.6 Duramax. Now that would be a ride.

Considering the average american drives about 13,000 miles a year, I don't think its that big of a deal to replace the belt once about every 10 years. I am sure on most case the belt will easily last past the 150K miles mark

I like that Z71 Tahoe. The front end design looks better on those than the truck to me for some reason. Why the push button shift though? No thanks on that feature. Glad to see the diesel option though, interested to see how those motors perform and hold up.

I like the thought of the 3.0L diesel in a Tahoe, but my wife would put gas in it way too quickly!

They meant to say hearse, which is what takes coffins to the cemetery. Hurst is a brand of aftermarket shifters in the automotive industry.

When I see Hurst, I think of either Linda Vaughn or Olds 442s. If you all are referring to the last ride, that is a hearse.

The Escalade premiums list over 100,000 today cannot imagine what 2021 with a diesel will cost.
As far as Independent rear suspension it is long overdue.
But that said better wait a couple years to buy one recalls and other issues will be many.
