Remote control toy boats

Gonna get one for 9 year old son. He is more interested in going fishing now. But still gets bored quick because of the “excellent “ fishing here in Ohio!

anyone else do this? Any advice on brand or how much to spend??

These are a blast and well worth the money. I think there is a model FT012 also but I had two of the 009's. Buy a couple extra batteries to keep charged and switch them out.

Get two one for you and him, you'll thank me later. I race them with my son a lot.

I got one for my son when he was young. He would drive it around the back of the boat. This allowed him to stay on the water longer. That and a nap pad under the console. At my pond we would tie on a small lure and he would work the weed line for bites. Every once in a while a bigger fish would flip it. It was a hoot to watch him work the boat like a lure to get bit.
