    What am I seeing

    I have an hds carbon. What is the screen showing?20190915_102552.jpg Not sure what it is.

    Is it snowing?

    On a serious note, looks like a lot of interference.....you also have your downscan overlay turned on. If you turn it off does the "snow" go away?

    I'm not sure. I will try turning it off when I go out next.

    I'll bet that your sensitivity is set to high. Try less or put it on Auto.

    Yes, the water temp was 85 degrees that day. It was actually 89 degree's at one point.

    I actually like to fish the hot hole where the water is discharged from the plant. It's not a nuclear plant though. Lol.

    The transducer is reflecting the subatomic particles suspending in a free state. The green hue is the accumulation of particles on the bottom. If you look closely at the screen the white particulates are beta and the heavier particulates are gama, which you see on the bottom.

    Make sure 2D isn’t on Chrip, set it to 200 kHz
