Independent Foot control rotating livescope transducer on trolling motor

Hi, just wanted to share a video I seen on YouTube with an independent foot control rotating livescope on trolling motor. Maybe bring some ideas to other people. Delete if unnecessary. Skip to 8:00 to see foot control of livescope.

On the Garmin FB pages, there are a few guys that have made their own motorized poles.....in fact i think there is a guy on here that did one also.

Touch of Class is who you are thinking of. He has one called Live Scanner. I got one and it is fantastic!!

I started out having my livescope on the troller and didn't like that; especially when spot locked.
I then went to a pole mount that I had to manually rotate and it was better but didn't like having to stop fishing while I rotated the livescope by hand.
This foot controlled Live Scanner is THE WAY to go!! It is so nice to just rotate the livescope using my foot while fishing instead of having to stop fishing and rotate the livescope by hand. Installation was easy as well.

Hopefully he will see this thread and share more information about it.

I think the problem is once we go motor on a pole it adds a lot of cost, but does make it work better in most cases.Theres still a lot of low cost non motorized options out there that will work.It definitely brings the mounts to the high end technology just as scope did for the sonar world

I realize its a bit trickier but if someone comes out with one of these for the terrova/ultrex they are going to sell a ton.
