100.00 rod purchase at Bass Pro

My kid always gets me a 100.00 gift certificate for Christmas. It is not my preferred place to buy fishing tackle but it is a gift so it's worth it. What would be the best all around bait casting rod? I have a brand new Daiwa Tatula SV TW 103XSL - LH 8:1 to pair it with.

For $100 I’d stick with the Carbonlites, Abu veritas or a St Croix Bass X. If you don’t mind putting up a few bucks more then I’d say a Lews Speed Stick. Your bass pro probably has a lot more stuff in it than the one here though

Ask him for a TW Gift card. They are 10% off and you don’t have to settle.

The BPS Crankin’ Stick is a pretty good crankbait rod for under a “C” note.

Those carbone lite 2.0 are very nice rods for the sale price. I have 3, 1 Spinning 2 casting and they have held up great. Very light and sensitive.

Grab a 7'2"-7'6" CARBONLITE Medium Heavy rod and GO TO WORK. that is ALL you need.

I don’t have card yet but checked out the carbonlite in a 7’3” medium heavy. Really nice feel. I think I’ll get that one.

I think Edwin Evers won the bassmaster classic jigging with that rod. Hard to go with the carbonlites.
