winter patterns ?

summer it's look for shade, fish shallow.So, is winter fish deep and wait for the sun to warm the water ? Talking to a group of neighbors yesterday who have been going out frequently and they said before the sun rises they've been catching bass but once the sun rises the bite screeches to a halt.For my knowledge, what baits work for you in December/January ?

Nothing spectacular. But I caught 6 in 4 1/2 hours Saturday morning on suspending jerkbait. Nothing big. Right at 18" was the biggest.20191207_105300.jpg
But I pretty much always catch them on jerkbaits year round.
