    Rod organizer for Champion Boats.

Has anyone removed this rod organizers so you can put rods in compartments easier?

I took the tubes out of the front and left the rack in the back of the compartment, Put rod sleeves on and reel covers for protection against scratching and tangles.

Yep, it was too hard getting the eyes into the tubes. (Even with sleeves on)

Just took mine out of my new rig. I hated them. Not a fan of rod tubes.

I also like no rod tubes as they can damage eyelets even with rod socks on.

Easy! In my 198, there were 2 screws at the top of the tube holder (frame). Just unscrew them and it all should come out. Hopefully your system is the same .
