    Question Color Dye for Z-man.

Someone on BTL last winter (can't remember who) said that JJ's will work IF you put it in the freezer first. Haven't tried it myself, but did read that several had success with it.

Spike-It worm and chunk paint does not work...at least not really. It basically melts the Elaztech like regular plastisol does when it contacts the Elaztech. You can sort of make it work, but it's interesting. I feel like I'm trying to dump some water on the Wicked Witch of the West, but not enough to make her melt completely.

Kinda surprised that Z-Man has not made their own die for their plastics.

I recall that, but were they putting the baits in the freezer or the JJ’s? I think it was the baits.

Maybe both? It seems that I remember the JJs being in the freezer because I remember thinking I had putting it in the freezer for a completely different reason (to see if I could leave it in my boat over the winter to avoid stinking up my storage room...turns out you can!).

Sorry it took so long to get back...So as far as a dye they are working on their own and they say the other brands wont hold up. I feel like it's an obvious answer but maybe someone who has tried it can chime in.
As far as making their own boxes there is nothing in the works.
