Have a xi5 24volt and have a friend that has same trolling motor but its a 12 volt. Unit has been working but just recently when trying to lock a location on water it doesn't lock in. Anybody have any thoughts that might fix this? Unit will just not lock in and hold current location.

Open the lid on the head, and make sure the powercable (thick wire) is separated from the GPS-reciver (thin wire).
