What motor support for Optimax 150?

I have the traditional transom saver that goes from the trailer to the lower unit. I was thinking about going with a my wedge or motor stick type. What do guys recommend? Boat is a z118, motor is a 150 Optimax.

How does the Motormate protect you transom?
It stops it from bouncing around, but the weight is still on your transom.

i was a sceptic of the motormate for years and always used the traditional one. I got fed up of getting down and setting up the arm transom saver, as well as it scuffing up the lower unit. I switch to a motormate and will never go back to traditional type. Very easy to install, does take up space and locks the motor down nice. I see what you saying but one the motor is locked down it moves in sync with the boat. Anyway, I made the switch and like it.
