Problem finding older threads

Hi, I just joined bbcboards and this is my first post. I have a problem viewing older threads in forums. What I mean is that for example, the Mercury 3 liter subforum shows that there are 18288 threads. When I enter that subforum, there are only three and a half pages of threads, and the oldest ones date from Oct 2019 (started on). I went through a bunch of subforums, and they all go back only to 2019. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some other problem? I tried both firefox and IE, so I doubt it's the cookies...

Hey man, welcome to the forums.

At the very bottom of the page, there is a small section titled Forum Information and Options. You can select how far back the threads appear…You can also change the order they are sorted. Choose whichever options you prefer, and hit 'Show Threads'

That should provide older content.
