Lowrance HDS Live Idling Tips: Pre-Practice for 2020 Bassmaster Classic Guntersville

I was down at Lake Guntersville the other week getting ready for the Bassmaster Classic. It is starting to feel real that i will actually be fishing it in March!


I did 3 days of idling staring at my Lowrance HDS 12 Lives.

So I saw where your DI also has the glitch where auto depth gets stuck on 5 ft, you have any fixes for it? When mine does it, I have to go into depth and pick a depth that is close to where I’m at, then hit auto and it works correctly for a while. Once I get on plane, I sometimes have to repeat.

I am not sure why it does that. I do the exact same thing that you mentioned to fix it. If I figure something out I'll be sure to let you know.

In the next update? My carbon has been like that since 18.2

The Downscan is horrible.
