Thumbs Up Oyster Stew... Who loves this stuff?

When winter gets here, man I love this stuff. I’m probably a little different than most making it though. I add lots of black pepper and seasoned salt to it while cooking. Other than butter, milk, & oysters my secret ingredient is a dose of heavy cream!

    Lawd mercy it’s good!!

Love oyster stew. I load it up with black pepper and a couple of shots of hot sauce.

Oyster or clam, I prefer mine with butter, canned milk, salt, pepper and a touch of worshire.

I’ll eat oysters any way you serve them to me.
i grew up eating oyster stew. Put them in a pot of milk, throw a bunch of butter in there and pepper. Then crumple up a full sleeve of saltine crackers and throw a little Tabasco sauce on that and I’m a happy man.
I try to go to my local oyster bar once a week a eat me a couple dozen oysters on the half shell too.

Grew up eating it. Just can't find the oyster stew in the cans anymore.

Oyster stew is one of my favorite things. I love them on the half shell also. The cost of a quart of oysters just keeps going up.

Nope! I'd like some crab cakes, tho.

I grew up and make my living in the seafood industry. I've tried just about every variety of oysters in just about any conceivable way and still can't bring myself to like them. Glad you guys enjoy them though, those guys work hard to get them to you!

Oyster Stew with heavy cream is a must have in our house. They just need to go ahead and put a IV in my arm and let it flow.

If you set oysters in front of me, I'd advise you to keep your hands and feet back!
