The new lake is going to connect Bonham to the reservoir, but I didn't know there was a Lake McKinney

McKinney is about 25 miles North of Dallas on I-75, if you're serious???

It also used to be a "Country" drive to Lake Texoma on 75 North, and now it's all connected from here to there...............

You are probably thinking about Lake Dunlap. The dam on lake Dunlap broke earlier this year. It's sad, I know. I do hope they rebuild it.

As far as I know, Lake McQueeney and the others are still intact.

Is that the one that was on video as the dam failed?

Yeah, that was Dunlap. Last account I had, plan was to drain all the lakes on that river including McQueeney. Think the residents on McQueeney got a court order to stop it, but in the long run, I figure the water authority will prevail.

US Hwy 75 north of Dallas may be an interstate, I know it's planned to be one, but it is not I-75. That particular interstate runs from Miami, FL thru Knoxville, Tn., Cincinnati, OH and all the way through Michigan.
