    1199/Helix 10

Can anyone tell me what cables (or anything else) I need to network my 1199 and Helix 10 SI/DI G2N Mega. My Helix is at the dash and 1199 up front. I will not be using the transducer on the 1199. I just want to share the imaging from the Helix and share way points. Thank you.

Each unit would need the AS EC QDE Ethernet adapter and then an Ethernet cable to connect them.

BUT you would have to turn 2D CHIRP OFF and Imaging CHIRP OFF on the Helix to even share any sonar data. Waypoints would share.

May not be able to share 1200 kHz to the 1199.

Thank you very much Wayne! By turning the Imaging CHIRP off would that make a noticeable difference in my side imaging on the Helix? I am not concerned about the 2d.

Imaging is better when Chirped. You may be OK with it that way.

Since I don't have one of these yet but will someday I'm wondering: Is it possible to turn off chirp on 2d without turning it off on SI/DI or is it all or none? Thanks.

Yes, 2D/DI/SI are separate with MEGA units.
