A guess on my part: I am thinking to much grease in hub and it is expanding out when on the road at operating temperatures.

So would it stop once some of the grease leaks out or would I need to replace the cap and not put as much grease in it?

    Is it weeping or leaking?
If it’s just weeping I would just wipe it off. If it’s leaking as running out of the end cap when the grease is in liquid form. I would pull the cap off and inspect for damage (yes you can hit it on things) or being over greased.

If it was mine I would clean it up and reuse with less grease. If it continues- then Id look at replacement

Same issue on my new rig, filled correctly also, but leaked none the less.

Replaced cap under warranty has solved it.

Not sure if youve ever took one apart but if you havent there is only a spring a snap ring and a couple orings. I think your oring is bad. Get yourself some new caps
