Interference on Livescope

I’m noticing a radius of whatever depth I’m in transmitting on Livescope. For instance, if I’m setting 22’ deep, there is an arc from 22’ to the right of the screen(in front) arcing down to directly under the boat. I can still see big objects like trees out past that but not nearly as clear as under the boat. Is this common?

reset to standard settings. then adjust the sensitivity a few clicks lower it the first step doesnt work
