    73dv to 93sv connection

    Currently I have a 73dv at console and a 53dv at bow. Never been real happy with the 53. I have them connected to share data waypoints. I’d like to purchase the 93sv e homepage plus from BPS website but I think I’ve discovered that I won’t be able to connect it to the 73dv I was planning to move to bow. Am I correct?

    The echoMAP Plus 7x/9x units share user data via the Ethernet cable (not the High Speed Protocol provided by the wires on the PWR cable of the nonCHIRP and CHIRP echomaps). Because of this, these 7x/9x Plus units will not share wpts with any of the older echoMAPs.
