    He is impressive! How about depredation permits? I'm pretty sure I saw him eating your vegetable garden and I don't think you should stand for that.

    Awesome! Tim just got back from my first montana elk hunt. Brutal type of hunting, steep hills, deep snow, slippery rock slopes, but I had an absolute blast and loved every minute. Only saw elk the first day, but I managed to bag a small mule deer.

    would love to be resting against a tree on the sunny side and have him moseying up about 50yds parallel to me. No rifle needed at this stage seeing him would be enough......
