2014 Z9 courtesy light confusion

I just got a 2014 Z9. the courtesy lights have the button on the console and also a magnetic switch on each compartment lid. I believe one of my lid magnetic switches is bad and I keep blowing the fuse. Is there a way to rig these lights to just come on when I turn on the console switch and bypass the magnetic switch??

Yeah the wires get frayed on those style switches. Yes you could but finding the right wires from the switch will be the biggest issue.

BMCD, any advice on tying in 2 Blue Water lights that are being mounted under my console to my Courtesy Light switch on my 2011 Z9?

All I can tell ya is a volt meter is your friend.

I was finally able to track down the wires running to the courtesy light in the battery compartment and splice into them and then run those wires to my console and work from there. Not the scenario I was hoping for but it worked out.
