    Wiring clean up!

When I re-did my bilge this year, I took all the wires and plugs that were laying low in the bilge and ran them into a box mounted higher up. Worked perfectly and keeps all pump connections out of the wet area. The Mrs. even bedazzled the box with a Z9 logo using her Cricut machine (have since changed the logo to white).

That bilge looks terriffic! That is a great transformation . As nice and neat as the wire management looks, I would be concerned that the wire loom will hold water and could eventually cause problems if they don't drain well. I use this for some of my bilge wiring, (which doesn't look nearly as neat and organized as yours). It dries pretty well. https://www.amazon.com/Feet-Protecto...s%2C137&sr=8-3

I know right?! So many of them! Actually, 2 livewell fills, 2 recirculation pumps, 2 pump outs, 1 bilge pump! These bass tubs are crazy!

Brian that looks great! I see they have gray or white available. In regards to coverage, did you get a quart or gallon to do the area shown? Did you use the fiberglass prep coating 1st?

I cleaned the bilge in my Ranger up years ago but a lighter coating in there instead of the black pultrusion would be nice.

mike: I used the quart size and it covered my entire bilge (more than what you can see in the pictures). I actually did the entire bilge, and the two side storage box areas. I painted the floors and all walls in all of the areas I mentioned and still had some left over in the can. That stuff is super sticky and covers in one coat. Go easy, if you put it on too thick it doesn't dry very well. A light coat is all you need and it dries hard as a rock! It reminds me of a candy like coating, but really tough. I used a brush and foam roller. Good luck. Hope yours turns out well.

Edit: no I did not use any of the prep you asked about, just cleaned the areas really good.
