Helix 5
I purchased a Helix 5 last year and only want it for keeping tracks for navigation and am having an awful time with it. I've not added additional maps or chip but am willing to. I can only get it to save a couple hours of tracks and then it deletes everything and starts over. I have saved some tracks and that feature works. As an additional problem, the built in chart is starting to go blank while running, like it cannot find that data, then it loads and then it loses it? I've read everything I can find on the Hummingbird site and am simply confused.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HB tracks are limited to 20,000 track points (as determined by track interval settings under the Nav tab) ..
You can widen the track interval settings to create longer tracks ... or save shorter tracks ... (Maximum saved tracks is 50 - at 20,000 track points each) ...
