    I too have a concealed weapons permit, and I also have maintained a security clearance since 1985 that I have to get renewed every few years.....so I guess I passed the background checks (and much worse for the clearance) too...and I've done lots wrong in my life.

    Good for you that you haven't done anything wrong, or haven't been involved in anything that ever went wrong.
