hey tuck I think I saw one on an auction site today, it is under Pearce and associates 3 pages of guns mostly in cowboy calibers or collector guns, let me check the auction I think is online but the items are located in alabaster EDIT; I was wrong it is a Browning lightning in 20, think it is the second or 3rd item listed. The Sliver Hunter is discontinued.... chances are he will not find one at a gun dealer unless it a used gun.

Check Guns America web site the show a Silver hunter Micro Midas 20 ga. Seller is Reeds Sporting goods in MN.

The Browning “hunter” models have been renamed “field” , basically same gun, usually a satin stock with matte blue finish.

Have you tried going to Browning.com, & find your closest Full Line (Platinum) dealer, & see if its something they could locate for you or possibly order from factory? Usually a gun shop and access more inventory than I can. Hope you find it, I love a good 20 gauge. I purchased the new A5 Sweet 16 a couple years back, now Im hoping that Browning will make the same offering in a 20.
