digital gauge help

I have a DF175 with the C10 color gauge. Yesterday after cleaning the boat I put it back in the water. I noticed my gauge was not working it's only 3 years old. So last night after dark I checked the gauge and found it to be very dim. The problem is it is so dim I can't adjust the brightness. Since I'm unable to read screen to find the section to raise the brightness. So please if any one has the C10 gauge. Would you please tell me how many beeps after pressing the menu button down to the brightness setting. so I can use it again. I've had no luck on the internet finding an easy way to turn up the brightness. thank you

Press and hold the menu button for 3 seconds.

This opens the display setup menu.

The second dropdown on that page is the backlight level. It adjusts in 10% increments from min (10%) to max (100%)

Hope that helps and you can work it out from there.

Here is a link to the Simrad IS35 display, its 99% the same as the C-10. Backlight brightness starts on page 10.
