    Prop Repair

    Hey,

Can someone tell me who to send a prop to to get repaired. I hit a rock while idling and dinged mine up. Thanks for any advice

I got my prop repaired and blueprinted by Croxton (he gives you a discount for doing both services) and gained 3-4 mph on the top end...plus an improved hole shot.

Thanks for all the advice, do yall think the blueprinting is worth it. Its a 25p tempest on a 04 ranger 520vx with 225 Mercury EFI. will i see 150 dollar gain over just a repair?

Call Mark and talk to him. He worked wonders with my 25 Tempest, as stated above. After a repair and blueprint, I gained 3-4 MPH.

+1 blueprinting is never a bad idea. I have to believe it's good for the lower unit as well.

An intriguing point [good for lower unit] that I had never considered until just now. More balance equals less vibration, which could increase the effectiveness and life of lower unit seals.
