Is my side scan image flipped?

Thank you. Got it figured out.

Drive closely to a bank, sea wall or drop off.

That sounds easy enough but for some reason I’m having a hard time distinguishing left to right on the image even when I run very close to a hard edge.

If you run 10’ off the bank with sidescan range @ 80’ and can’t tell.... you got more problems than flippin’ sidescan image.

Buttttt.... if your transducer cable comes out at the back - the flip left/right option flag should be red(enabled). If the transducer cable exits the front of the transducer then the flip left/right should not be selected.

I just grab the net and dip it down in the water on one side of the boat. I have to switch back and forth between my boat and my dads boat when using my units. His boat I have to flip the left/right and mine I don't. I sometimes get confused and with the net or like others said you can drive by a pylon or buoy and tell. If it shows on the wrong side of the screen just flip it.
