I am attempting to replace the fuel hoses on a 1998 Ranger 488 VS. The fuel filler hose is in a difficult location to reach. I am looking for a suggestion on how to tighten the hose clamps. Please help if you can !

Use worm gear clamps that have the slotted hex head on them and you can use a screw driver or a socket on rachet tools with a flex joint. You may need to remove the fill connection plastic on the outside of the boat with the old HD hose attached and remove and replace it with the new hose before reinstalling on the boat. Did all mine 6 or 8 years ago and those were the toughest part of the job.
